Next Steps for New Producers

To sell our Medicare products, both new and current producers must achieve certification status before marketing our products to consumers or submitting an application.

The following producers types must achieve certification status: independent producers, subproducers and agency principals.

Agency principals must complete their individual assignments first. Once those are complete, they'll receive an email notification to access their agency tasks.

Agency principals must complete their individual and agency certification tasks before their subproducers can be certified.

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is from October 15th through December 7th each year for the following calendar year.

Producers must complete our Medicare options certification requirements prior to marketing and/or selling any of the following: 

• Blue Cross Medicare Advantage℠ with Prescription Drug Plans
• Blue Cross Medicare Advantage℠ Plans
• Blue Cross MedicareRx (PDP)℠ Prescription Drug Plans
• Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Dual Care℠ Plans

Producers who complete all requirements by October 1, can begin marketing our products.

The certification curriculum uses the AHIP/CMP platform. If you use the certification link below to access/complete their assigned tasks, you’ll receive the discounted rate of $50 off the normal $175 AHIP fee and pay $125.

NOTE: If you are newly onboarded, please wait 24-48 hours from the receipt of your Welcome Letter to access the training platform.

• Username: Your National Producer Number (NPN)
• Password: Previously created password
• Employee ID: Your National Producer Number (NPN)

New Users:

• Click on “Create an Account,” and enter your National Producer Number (NPN) in the Employee ID field.
• Enter your National Producer Number (NPN) in the Username field.
• Complete the profile questions to receive your automated curriculum assignment.

• Producer or Agency Certification form
• Producer or Agency Amendment (does not apply to subproducers)
