• Update your billing address
• Reinstate your policy (limitations may apply)
• Set up Auto Bill Pay
• Make a payment over the phone
• Request a refund because your plan was terminated
• Request a refund because you overpaid
• Research missing or misapplied payments
• Receive paper billing by mail
• Opt in to receive your bill electronically by email
• Reprint a bill

If you're an HMO member, there are a few ways you can update your PCP:

• Update through your account: you can update your PCP and, if needed, search your network of covered doctors in your account. Log in to get started .
• Update with Customer Service: Still have questions or need help? Call us at 1-888-697-0683 or send a secure message through your member account .

You can find many plan or member documents linked in your member account. To access them digitally, log in to and search your member account  or send a secure message in your account to request a copy. To find forms commonly used by members, visit our Form Finder tool. If you need help or have questions about your member materials, please contact the BCBSTX Customer Service team by calling 1-888-697-0683. We're able to:

• Replace your member ID card
• Send a copy of your Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Send a copy of your Policy Booklet
• Provide a Proof of Coverage Letter

If you want to update your coverage because of a recent life event, like a job loss, divorce or separation or the passing of a family member, you may be able to make these changes on your own during the Special Enrollment Period.

If you don't qualify for Special Enrollment or have questions, the Health Insurance Marketplace  can help you:

• Remove your BCBSTX medical plan (but keep your dental plan)
• Remove a BCBSTX dental plan for you or your child
• Remove a dependent or spouse from your coverage

We're sorry you want to terminate your BCBSTX plan. Before canceling your coverage, please note leaving your plan may mean you won't have coverage for the coming year unless you enroll during Open Enrollment, from November 1 to January 15. You can also re-enroll if you go through a life event that qualifies you for Special Enrollment.
