Participants have access to a personal coach who can help them set and meet health and wellness goals with Well onTarget® Wellness Coaching included in their TRS-ActiveCare plan at no extra cost.
Wellness Coaching uses evidence-based guidelines and proven motivational techniques, and goal setting. The wellness coach will:
The coaches are credentialed health experts, including dietitians, nurses, personal trainers and other specialists. Coaches work one-on-one with participants to discuss lifestyle needs. Online trackers can help guide them along the way.
There are a few convenient ways participants can get started with wellness coaching:
Once they're registered for coaching, they can exchange secure messages with their coach through the Well onTarget Member Wellness Portal or via the AlwaysOn app. They can also speak directly with their coach or request that their coach calls them using the phone number on the portal dashboard.

Stress management — The coach can help them find creative, healthy ways to combat stress.
Fitness — The coach can create a plan that’s right for their fitness level and goals.
Nutrition — A registered dietitian can help them understand their relationship with food and make healthy eating choices.
Weight loss — The coach will address behavioral or environmental factors that may be keeping them from reaching your weight loss goals.
Weight Maintenance — If they're at a healthy weight and want to know how to maintain it, the coach will discuss managing stress, nutritional needs, physical activity, and sleep.
Cholesterol Improvement — Being overweight, making poor dietary choices, and living a sedentary lifestyle can contribute to high cholesterol. The coach can help make lasting lifestyle changes to lower cholesterol.
Blood Pressure Improvement — Concentrate on lowering blood pressure through exercise, dietary habits, quitting tobacco, and managing stress.
Smoking Cessation — Quitting tobacco can be a challenge. The coach will help them understand the physical and psychological factors of addiction.
