BCBSTX Spreading Kindness Statewide to Celebrate 95 Years of Serving Texans

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is counting down to its 95th anniversary with a statewide 95 Days of Kindness campaign to celebrate nearly a century of service to the people of Texas.

Since Sept. 16 — exactly 95 days before BCBSTX’s Dec. 20 anniversary — employees across 16 offices statewide have been participating in acts of kindness in recognition of organization’s commitment to building healthier communities. Throughout the campaign that lasts until Dec. 20, employees will support more than a dozen organizations, including the American Red Cross, Undies for Everyone and NMDP, formerly Be the Match. Employees are anticipated to complete more than 1,000 volunteer hours by participating in events such as awareness walks, donation drives and service projects.
