With Blue Cross Medicare Advantage℠ HMO, you:

  • Typically have lower or $0 monthly premiums
  • Your care is handled by one primary care provider (PCP) who knows your health history
  • Your costs will be as low as possible when you got to a provider in the network
  • You may be required to get a referral from your PCP before you visit a specialist
  • These plans may or may not cover prescription drugs

How You Are Protected in This Plan

  • Blue Cross Medicare Advantage is offered for one full year at a time. 
  • A determination is made each year if the plan will be offered the following year.
  • If the plan is not offered the next year, you will not lose your Medicare coverage.
