Find 2025 coverage until January 15 during the Open Enrollment Period. BCBSTX plans are a great option if you don’t get a healthcare coverage plan through your job, don't qualify for Medicare or Medicaid or are self-employed or own a small business. You're eligible to enroll in affordable health, dental and vision coverage during Open Enrollment. Plus, you may qualify for premium tax credits to lower your monthly bills.
Medicaid
Medicaid is a state-run program that helps those in need get health insurance. It is meant for people with a low income or a disability. The state determines who qualifies for Medicaid based on federal guidelines. Once you qualify, you can pick a health plan. BCBSTX's Medicaid plans can help meet your health care needs. If you do not qualify for Medicaid, you may be able to get an Individual and Family health plan with BCBSTX at little or no cost.
Medicare (65+)
The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is open. Sign up for your Medicare plan by Dec. 7.
