A Value-Added Service is a service that is provided to Medicaid STAR, CHIP and STAR Kids members by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. Our Value-Added Services are used to promote preventive care and services, engage members in their own care, address gaps in care and services, and support our Quality Improvement Programs.
New STAR, CHIP and STAR Kids members receive all Value-Added Services incentive forms in the new members welcome packet.
