Providers participate in our Medicaid Provider Advisory Group meetings. During these meetings BCBSTX Medicaid works with all provider types to help promote a way to share information between Behavioral Health, Primary Care Physician, and other specialty providers.
The purpose of this meeting is to help create space for:
- Provider Voice and Involvement
- Provider Guidance of Initiatives
- Quality and Performance Improvements
- Strengthen Partnerships
These meeting also create the opportunity for providers to share feedback on our clinical policies and utilization management practices to improve the quality of care and experience for the providers and members.
