On October 12, 2009 enhancements were made to the Clear Claim Connection claim audit screens. Clear Claim Connection (C3)* is an online code auditing tool that enables BCBSTX to disclose our claim auditing rules and clinical rationale to our contracting provider network. These changes to C3 include reordering of the entry screen fields, reordering of the result screen fields, and also on the edit clarification screen there is now a date/time stamp, and a Recommendation field has been added. These enhancements were designed to simplify the review of BCBSTX's payment policies, rules and edit rationale that are available on C3 via BCBSTX's website.
