We have discontinued the use of the risk adjusted cost index (RACI) to determine eligibility for the BlueChoice Solutions High Performance Network until national standards are more clear and we assess our alternatives.
Physicians and Professional Providers can request additional information regarding how their eligibility in the BlueChoice Solutions network was determined in the following ways:
By calling their local PPN office.
Written Inquiries
Letters, fax, or emails for general questions or comments regarding BlueChoice Solutions eligibility, methodology or interpretation of scores should be directed to your local Professional Provider Network office. Examples of inquiries include questions about the accuracy of the provider number and the tax ID number. You will receive a written response within 30 days of receipt of the inquiry.
Formal Requests for Review Please submit your written requests for review of a BlueChoice Solutions eligibility decision to your local Professional Provider Network office. These requests must be in writing. You will receive a written response providing the results of the review.
