The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) is a national federation of 39 independent, community-based and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies.
	America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is the national association representing nearly 1,300 member companies.
	TAHP brings together industry leadership to develop answers to the critical health care issues in Texas. The association does this through continuous communication with its members, industry and community stakeholders, as well as representatives of the Legislature and state agencies.
	THOMAS was launched in January of 1995, at the inception of the 104th Congress. The leadership of the 104th Congress directed the Library of Congress to make federal legislative information freely available to the public.
