Due to the success of our initial Clean Case Submission Bonus program, we are pleased to launch an enhanced bonus program for November 1, 2009, through December 15, 2009, effective dates. Bonus applies to 2-50 regulated health plans only.

During our initial Clean Case Bonus Program, clean submissions increased to a record high of 60%. Additionally, the number of clean submissions received continues to remain high, but we think that number can be higher!

To continue to encourage clean submissions which are key to efficient processing and to meeting our mutual customers’ expectations, we are launching an enhanced Clean Case Submission Bonus Program which will reward both clean submissions and the early receipt dates of those submissions.

How the program works:

You may qualify for a $150 per group clean case bonus by submitting the case with a fully completed Small Group Employer Application (SGEA) including complete documentation as specified in the Broker Tip Sheet. Please note that the complete packet containing all required paperwork, including the check, must be received at time of initial submission. If additional items are received or requested after initial submission, the case will not qualify for a bonus award.

A higher award of $250 per group clean case bonus will be paid for clean cases (as described above) received 10 or more calendar days prior to the effective date. To be eligible for the higher award, the case must be considered "clean" and be received by the Small Business Service Center (SBSC) or a BCBSTX appointed General Agent, 10 or more calendar days prior to the effective date. General Agents will have 3 calendar days to forward the case to the SBSC for processing. BCBSTX internal records will be used to determine the receipt date of the case and the final qualification of the bonus award.
