Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans

Offering security and value. These plans can pay for many of the costs Medicare doesn't cover, including some of the hospital and skilled nursing facility costs under Medicare Part A, as well as uncovered medical expenses under Medicare Part B. These plans also let you choose any licensed doctor or specialist without restriction.

With Medicare Supplement insurance from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, you may choose either the Standard or Medicare Select^† option. Both options offer the same coverage:

With the Standard option, you can choose any hospital.
With the Medicare Select option, your premiums will be less because you agree to use one of our Medicare Select Network Hospitals for your non-emergency elective admissions. And with Medicare Select, you are fully covered for emergency care at any hospital. Medicare Select is available in specific geographic areas only. You must live within a 30-mile radius of a Medicare Select Network Hospital.

Blue MedicareRx - Prescription Drug Coverage

Blue MedicareRx offers you the savings, coverage, and convenience you expect from your Medicare prescription drug plan. We offer a choice of three plan options with affordable monthly premiums including coverage for more than 2,600 prescription drugs. You can also take advantage of our large pharmacy network that includes major chains like CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. As a Blue MedicareRx member, you can feel confident knowing your coverage is backed by one of the state's leading health insurers - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.

Blue Medicare PPO - Medicare Advantage Plan

Blue Medicare PPO** gives you more of the benefits you want and includes built-in prescription drug coverage. All three Blue Medicare PPO plan options include all services that Original Medicare would cover, plus additional services not covered by Medicare. You'll have the convenience of choosing one of the largest networks of doctors, hospitals, and other providers.
