It's important to understand what Medicare is, how and when to enroll and what it does and does not cover. If you have a 65th birthday coming up, now is the time to start thinking about Medicare.
Medicare has four basic parts that, together, help with health care costs. Each part provides coverage for different types of health care services. Medicare Part A and Part B are often referred to as "original" Medicare. Keep in mind that original Medicare was not designed to cover all your medical expenses.
