Blue Access for Employers

Triple Option Product

This program allows an employer to offer members three health coverage options at enrollment.  The parameters to offer a Triple Option Product are:

  • Employers can select up to three health plans. When triple option is selected, at least one plan must be selected from the following:
    • BlueEdgeSM HSA Plan
    • BlueEdgeSM HCA Plan
    • BlueEdgeSM Wellness Rewards HCA
    • M32, M33 or M34
  • The Triple Option Product can include one HMO plan; and
  • All non-HMO plans (PPO, BlueEdge HSA, BlueEdge HCA or BlueEdge Wellness Rewards HCA) must either be from the BlueChoice or BlueChoice Solutions network.
  • There are five available combinations for selection for Triple Option Product with products on the BlueChoice and BlueChoice Solutions networks.
