Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is proud to be the statewide sponsor of the Caring for Children Foundation, Inc. In this role, the organization covers 100 percent of the administrative costs of the Caring Foundation. Working with the foundation is a natural extension of the company's proud history of caring for the residents of Texas.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas' tradition of caring extends to the medically underserved. This tradition is carried through in our collaboration with the Caring for Children Foundation. With one in four children in Texas not properly immunized, the Care Van Program provides immunizations to uninsured and medically underserved children through its current fleet of ten custom vans.
